Los medios masivos de comunicación se han encargado de mostrar como gobiernos que promulgaban por el libre mercado han tenido que intervenir para salvar bancos y empresas fundamentales para la vida económica del país. No obstante las graves consecuencias de este colapso financiero para los trabajadores y trabajadoras así como para nuestro frágil medio-ambiente han pasado desapercibidas para los políticos y los principales medios de comunicación. Este audiovisual pretende ser una aproximación a los impactos de la crisis económica en la sociedad civil uruguaya, abordada por distintos representantes de la misma. |
| Every country has suffered from the global crisis. It was not easy to recover from this downturn but I know that they are trying to work hard to uplift the economic status of the country. As far as I am concerned, the unemployment rate in Uruguay increased this year. This is quite bad news but if the government officials initiate some new programs that will benefit the welfare, much better. |
| I have to agree with that Marynor. There are indeed lots of issues that the country of Uruguay still have to deal with. I think it is important that issues be addressed as soon as possible. I also believe that there are still some ways for this national problems be solved. Anyway, thanks for sharing those information and that video in here. This is a wake up call for those who are in position. |
| I think the unemployment rate increased not only in Uruguay but even in other parts of the world due to the global recession that most countries are experiencing. Still, that is no excuse to not find a way to create more jobs for the people in these countries, including Uruguay. In fact, one of the best ways to get the country out of this rut is by finding more employment opportunities for its people. |
| Hi there! You are all right. Yes, it is not only Uruguay that is affected of the ongoing global crisis. Almost all the countries are really affected with it and that is the reason why unemployment rates are increasing. I hope that this will be resolved, right away. | Global crisis is definitely worldwide and Uruguay is not alone. We have to admit that it is really a serious matter to deal with. This is the major reason why we are having an increase with unemployment rates. Working and earning a living is one of the most priorities of the people. That depends how their life on earth would turn out to be. That's why I hope that we could have an immediate solution about global crisis. |
