Hi there people.I am interested in becoming a resident in Montevideo. I love to travel and have been in this place for several times now and thought of finally living there. Can anybody here share some information on how to apply a residency in Uruguay? I would really appreciate if anyone post here some information regarding this matter. Hope to hear from all of you soon, thanks a lot.

Here is a link with an overview of the process... you can do it yourself if you know Spanish or use a translator. Or you can hire an attorney or service to handle it all for you (but make sure you know exactly what they do and don't do... ie: document legalization). • Page 1 (Original Post) •
