Shopping has always been an activity you cannot help but engage in whether or not in vacation. Recent trends point to people preferring to go to the markets and buying fresh food. Shopping in Montevideo gives you a cheaper bargain than in Argentina. Stores in Centro, along Avenida 18 de Julio, offer the standard selection of urban merchandise. The fun experience is however to be found in the city's markets.

I always hear everyone talking about going to Buenos Aires for shopping because its cheap! Of course 18 de Julio is cheaper than the upscale malls. Not to mention much more interesting! • Page 1 (Original Post) •
