Learning "Urguayan" Spanish!Hello, My name is Rita and I have just spent 4 weeks in Uruguay trying to decide if I'd like to retire there. I met plenty of fellow expats at the Sunday meeting in Old Maz (thanks for all your advice!) and many of them asked me if I planned to learn spanish...well I do and I started already! I took two weeks of intensive Spanish at The Academia Uruguay on Plaza Matriz in Ciudad Vieja. The School is clean, modern and well equipped, the teachers are the best in town, all native speakers with great qualifications. The prices are a little higher than the other places but with the bad reviews they go I think the extra money is worth it! |
