Montevideo is the largest city, capital and chief port of Uruguay. It is situated south of the country. Are there any customs and taboos in Montevideo and if any do they reflect the phase of the whole country? What happens if you against the grain and violate these customs without knowledge. What then are the steps necessary to avoid culture shock for those intending to travel there?
